Here’s a look at the Bend real estate market statistics for January 2013. There were 291 homes for sale, 24 contingent sales, and 223 pending sales. Of the homes currently on the market, only 10 are short sales and only 3 are bank owned. 95% of the homes for sale are traditional sales.
134 homes sold in January with a median sales price of $266,278. Of the homes that sold, 10 were bank owned, 19 were short sales, and 105 were traditional sales, so 78% of the sales were traditional, non-distressed sales. The average percentage of list price received on homes that sold was 99.45%.
New construction continues to be a popular option for home buyers. Just looking at homes built in 2012 and 2013, there are 61 homes for sale, 77 pending sales, and 35 sales occurred in January. The median sales price was $254,698.
